When we began planning the Femworking Blogger and Small Business Conference we made it a goal to carefully select and recruit speakers and panelists who were not only engaging, but had a real message to share with attendees. As with every decision we asked, “will this person bring value?” We balanced our line-up of speakers to include veteran bloggers/business owners as well as newer bloggers/entrepreneurs. We found legal, tax, marketing and SEO experts. We searched for locally based bloggers with broad audiences. We also found entrepreneurs who have built incredible multimillion dollar businesses from the ground up.

In 2008, she was named among the 25 top female executives in the region by Washington SmartCEO magazine and was recognized as a ‘Women Who Means Business’ by the Washington Business Journal. She is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
